Plot[]

Anissa Pierce reveals her own powers to Jennifer Pierce, then tells her that their father is Black Lightning. Jennifer is angry and feels like she has been lied to all her life. Jefferson Pierce and Lynn Stewart are angry at Anissa for revealing her father's secret because it was not her place to do so.

Inspector Bill Henderson begins to investigate corrupt police officers. Peter Gambi looks into the electrical weapons that killed Lady Eve. Jefferson and Anissa dive into Alvin Pierce's research looking for connections to Green Light. All three investigations converge at a lab where Green Light is being created.

Gambi gives Anissa her new suit. He tells her he made mistakes in keeping information from Jefferson but was just trying to keep the people he loves safe. Jennifer and Lynn have a heart-to-heart and she begins to understand why her parents kept the truth from her. But unlike her father and sister, she does not want to save the world. She just wants a normal life.

Black Lightning and Thunder raid the drug lab, with Inspector Henderson arresting several individuals before the lab is blown up. A.S.A. agents armed with anti-Black Lightning weapons attack, but Thunder protects him.

At the Pierce household, Jennifer forgives her father for lying and he promises to be honest in the future.
